BIOGRAPHY

L'dia Men-Na’a is the daughter of an Air Force Sergeant & an U.C.Berkeley, Accountant. Early childhood memories are of those in the Philippines, & of her grandmother, (originally from Mississippi) in California who spoke about their "Indian" Indigenous American & African ancestry.  In everyday conversation grandmother taught her to notice the signs of nature & the healing elements from the earth used by their grandmothers.

In her private practice L’dia is a children's educational art illustrator. She has provided art for various magazines and news publications. In the area of complementary therapies, L'dia is a "Pre-Birth Parenting" Midwife, Certified Childbirth/Doula-Wholistic Health Educator, Certified Massage Therapist. And as a Life Path Counselor she provides empowerment consultations. 

L’dia has worked for Wholistic Stress Control Institute of Atlanta, GA, www.wholistic1.com founded by Jennie Trotter, since 2002 as a Teen Abstinence Project Director and a Sexually Transmitted Disease(STD) /Human Immunoligical Virus (HIV) Prevention Educator & Senior Prevention Case Manager of P.A.A.T.H., Pointing African Americans Towards Health, an STD/HIV/Substance Abuse Prevention (SAP) Project.  

Many are familiar with her voice & guided visualization “overtone” meditations from having heard her over the past 5 years as a regular radio guest on WRFG 89.3 fm on M.A.P.T.I.M.E. Jazz with Wanique Khemi-Tehuti El Shabazz, where she provides mathematical character analysis "Nameorology" for Life Path development. www.wrfg.org

L’dia works with individuals & with groups in schools, in facilities such as regional youth detention centers, state prisons & transition centers, & rehabilitation centers.  She also provides stress management instruction to corporations for staff development days. Wherever L'dia teaches enlightenment, understanding, & practical knowledge in the use of complementary therapies for wholistic health is shared.
